Matilda The Musical JR. is a lively, youth-friendly adaptation of the award-winning Broadway and West End show, Matilda the Musical, by The Pauline Quirke Academy. The musical tells the story of a young girl with an extraordinary mind, exceptional intelligence, and magical abilities, who faces challenges in her home and school life. Despite being neglected by her shallow parents and terrorized by the villainous headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, Matilda uses her cleverness, love for books, and a sense of justice to stand up for what’s right. With the support of her kind-hearted teacher Miss Honey, she learns to harness her special powers and take control of her destiny.
