It is with great sadness that the theatre has had to close for most of 2020 due to the worldwide pandemic. While the theatre has been closed, we have (when permitted!) taken the time to improve some elements of the theatre, ready for when we can reopen our doors again! New Ceiling Tiles
We have installed new ceiling tiles in the foyer. This really brightens the space up and allows us to hide all the wiring for the lighting. We’ve installed the same near the toilets too!
Bespoke Bar Install
The bar has had a complete make-over! The old bar has been removed and a new beautifully hand crafted bar has been installed last summer. We have an electrician visiting in the next few weeks to install our new fridges and new state of the art till system!
Brighter than ever!
We have converted all the general lighting in the theatre to LED lighting. This is not only great for the environment but particularly in the theatre auditorium which has no natural light, makes it much safer for our guests and workers. Our working lights above the stage have been upgraded to high-performance floodlight LEDs which provide excellent lighting to work safely while installing or removing scenery.
Toilets are looking flush!
Thanks to our in-house refurbishment team during the summer, the male, female and disabled toilets have all been repainted. Along with the new LED lighting, the spaces are bright and welcoming. The spaces have all been re-floored and the urial in the male restroom has been removed and replaced with three individual modern urinals.
Refurbished Furniture & Foyer
The tables and chairs have been refurbished in the foyer, and the whole foyer has been repainted.
