Andy Christie at 40: All-a-board’…for an evening of trains, railways and steam!

‘Professional Train Driver Andy Christie celebrates his 40th Birthday by taking a look back at his achievements on the footplate and with television for this special fundraising event.

Andy has been volunteering with railways for 28 years! He also has a big love for garden railways and challenges. In 2017, he assisted Dick Strawbridge on Channel 4’s ‘The Biggest Little Railway In The World’. Since then, Andy has been working on his own ideas for television and his latest project has been working with volunteers to restore a steam powered tramway in Wales. It is now Andy’s mission to return tracks to a disused station in Chirk and be the first to drive a steam engine there in 86 years!

Joined by special guests Cameron Stevenson and Jack Boskett, this show is a must for all railway enthusiasts young and old.
All proceeds from ticket sales will go to the Glyn Valley Tramway Trust.
