Can I return/exchange the tickets I have bought?
We cannot provide a refund for tickets you no longer need.
I’ve lost my tickets, can you resend them to me?
Yes, please contact us and we can email your tickets to you again.
I can’t find my tickets and it is the night of the show, help!
Please ensure you bring a valid photo ID with you to the venue (in the name of the person who ordered the tickets) and speak to the house manager who will be able to help (ask for them at the bar). Arrive with plenty of time before the show as we will need to check your order on our system.
How do I book a wheelchair space?
Use the contact form above and select ‘Request for wheelchair space’. Complete all the details required so we can process the order for you. We will send you a payment link to complete your order or call you by phone for card details. Once the order is complete, we will email you your tickets.
Can I bring a guide or assistance dog?
Yes, please contact us ahead of your booking to let us know of any additional needs you may have and we will do our best to accommodate for you.
Will you work with professional theatre companies to host an event in the theatre?
Yes, drop us a message using the form above, we would love to hear from you. Remember to send us details of your company, such as a website or video clips of your work.
Can I smoke or use an e-cigarette/vapour pen in the theatre?
No. Smoking including the use of any smoking device is not permitted in the theatre.
Does the venue have a loop system?
Yes. To ensure the best experience for using this system, turn your hearing aid to channel T.
Do you have onsite parking?
Yes, we have free parking at the venue. There are some disabled spaces available outside the front of the school (next door to the theatre which can also be used. See our Getting Here page for more information.
Can I purchase tickets at the theatre?
As the theatre is closed most days, we do not operate a box office at the theatre. We ask that you purchase your tickets in advance either online or with one of our satellite box offices.
Are there any age restrictions on your shows?
Yes, age restrictions apply to certain shows. Please check the show details on our website for details. We do not recommend children under 5 attend the theatre unless the performance is specifically for a younger audience. Shows can contain strobe lighting, loud unexpected noises and young children and babies could find this upsetting.
Can I bring my own food and drink to the venue?
No, to comply with licensing regulations, you can only consume food and drink purchased at our bar.
Can I stand and dance during the performance?
As we are a seated venue with a broad range of customers, we ask that you respect the enjoyment of others by remaining seated during the performance.
Do you admit latecomers?
Every effort is made to admit latecomers however, you may be asked to wait or sit at the back of the auditorium until a suitable point in the performance to avoid disruption.
Are pyrotechnics, strobe and flashing lights used in productions at The Henrician?
Various stage effects are used in the theatre. Any specific warnings will be displayed on the night of your performance. Alternatively, speak to our front of house staff who can advise on the night.
